My eviction from Project Fame doesn’t make me a loser –Kofo

Kofo

Kofo who just got evicted from the ongoing MTN Project Fame West Africa7.0 has surprised many by releasing a hit song, Dem boiz, in less than two weeks after her eviction.

Speaking to Saturday Beats, the singer said that her eviction from the reality television show did not mean she lacked talent. She said that she was able to look past the fact that she was evicted and focus on the future.
She said, “Having been evicted does not mean you are not talented; I couldn’t get enough votes. If my parents or friends were very rich, they would have voted moreeven though the whole of Mushin and Ilupeju tried by keeping me in the academy but God knows best. I really want the whole world and my fans to know that my talent and ability which they believed in will be exhibited outside the academy.”
Talking about her experience in the academy, the singer and keyboardist said she learnt a lot during her time in the academy.
“I have really learnt a lot from the MTN Project Fame Academy, which really reflects in this new track. The whole of the faculty and judges have really tried their best in making us better singers and performers. I have never been downcast because of my eviction. I wouldn’t have been able to do what I did now if I had allowed that get to me. I am not the first and will not be the last to be evicted. It is a competition and one person must win and the fact that you don’t win does not make you a loser,” she said.
