SAM NDA-ISAIAH AS GUEST SPEAKER AT THE CITY PEOPLE'S MAIDEN MONTHLYLECTURE

DR Seye Kehinde's City people's initiative of hosting a monthly lecture for the love of his country is one of its kind tabled to hear the cry of the ordinary Nigerian and bringing in invited guest speakers to come enlighten them through this forum on issues arising and how we can actually make a better Nigeria.

The first lecture came up on sunday at the protea hotel GRA and sitted were media representatives and bloggers as well as the lay man; and were been addressed by the guest speaker a true Nigerian, he has been able to blend into the Igbo, Hausa, Yoruba, Efik, Islam, Christianity, traditionalist, and sees everyone as one Nigerian despite your ethnic group or religion, he is no other person than the ex publisher of leadership newspaper Sam Nda-Isaiah.

The theme of this months lecture was tagged MOVING NIGERIA FORWARD. The guest speaker Sam Nda -Isaiah addressed lots of issues affecting Nigerian economy with corruption been the key problem, but which can be curbed when we Nigerians are ready to do it because as it is we are still enjoying the situation is why we are non challant but if we want to secure the future of our kids then we need to sit up and put an end to corruption.

Sam  stated further that we need to love our country more than the respect we give to people, we should focus more on our nation Nigeria and only love can conquer all ethnic and religious crisis. Most of our present leaders don't love Nigeria enough to care for it, is why we can see Nigerians been top investors in foreign organisations rather than investing here, because they don't believe in themselves. If you believe in yourself you won't give up on your country, if Nigeria was to belong to a certain family they won't  let it crumble? They will do all they can to make it work, that's the same way we should take our country Nigeria.

Countries like Singapore, Malaysia, Dubai and China that looked up to us now have better economy than us . It's never too late to rebuild our own economy but first we must love Nigeria enough to fight corruption with at all cost.
